okay, since we can be honest here and share secrets...i gained 4 lbs in the last week. 4 lbs. UGGGGGHHHHH!
today is april 1st and i will get back on track. don't you love when the "first of the month" also starts on a monday? i do...i feel like its a total fresh start!
as i indicated in my last post, i had an unfill as i was having a hard time with liquids and then went in back thursday to have some additional added. right now i have 4.0cc in a 10cc band. i think (and i could be totally wrong) that my green zone is right between 4.5-5.0. but i am going to go with this fill level for now.
it is nice to be able to eat some "good/healthy" foods and not rely on soup and liquids so i am really trying my best to follow all of the bandster "rules" for a bit to see how i do at this 4.0cc level.
with all of that techinal stuff being said, today i am going to start to track my calories again (EVERYDAY and EVERY MEAL) and see how i do before i call my doc for another small adjustment.
so here goes...
monday, april 1st.
breakfast
coffee with 2 tbs. sugarfree creamer
2 hardboiled eggs (this is why i know i could add a few cc's added--eggs are usually killer for me and i easily ate two)
calories (approximately 175 and approximately 11g of protein)
lunch
4 oz (homemade-meaning it is light/lower fat and measured) chicken salad and two rice cake type things ( approximately 175 calories and 17g of protein)
1 banana (100 calories)
decaf coffee/black
dinner
4 oz lean ground beef taco salad (1/2 avocado, lettuce, mushrooms, corn)-17g of protein and approximately 275 calories)
Protein shake
Yahoooooooo! Day 1 down...not too bad. Now to fight a bit of head hunger before bed!
Hope all of you had a good Monday and good first of the month!
Cheers,
Kristin
I love new months that start on Mondays - feels like the first of the year.
ReplyDeleteI do love when a new month starts on a Monday! It is a great time for new beginnings.
ReplyDeleteBeing a weird person that gets on the scale a number of times per day, I see my weight move 4 or 5 pounds in one day. It might not be a real gain.
I track everyday too. I think it really helps keep me accountable. Here is to a great month ahead! Chin up! It will be epic!
